Reports to: Manager on Duty

Overall Responsibility:

Purple Cow bussers are responsible for ensuring a clean environment for guests and team members. Responsible for bussing tables, maintaining floor cleanliness throughout the dining room, ensure clean and sanitary restrooms throughout the shift and support the service team members in helping to provide "Outrageous" guest service. Purple Cow busser should have the ability to work positively in a high paced, team environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Maintaining a clean station
• Overall cleaning of dining room and restrooms
• Cleaning tables
• Trash removal
• Assist the dish staff
• Organizing clean dishes

Communicates With:

• Bus staff
• Soda Jerk
• Servers
• Dish staff
• Kitchen staff
• Management

Qualifications:

• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to stay focused on tasks
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Compensation: $8.50/hour + tips

Purple Cow has been serving "The Young of All Ages" in Central Arkansas since 1989.

The Purple Cow is a 50s-style, full-service diner delighting customers with gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches, delicious entre salads and old-fashioned soda fountain treats. We serve ice cream from Arkansas' own Yarnell's Premium Ice Cream. Quality is key to us. All of our soups and sauces, most of our dressings and our award-winning cheese dip and chili are homemade.

We pride ourselves in consistently serving food of the highest quality. We are famous for our hamburgers and milkshakes, but offer much more, such as, specialty salads, grilled sandwiches, homemade soup, chili, and cheese dip, just to name a few. All of our guests receive Outrageous Service, meaning we go above and beyond to meet all of their needs. We provide all of this in a clean, organized, and FUN environment. Our ultimate goal is to give our guests a one of a kind experience that will leave a lasting impression, and encourage them to become a lifelong fan.
