Description:
Shift times are from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
A schedule of 5 shifts of 8 hours from Thursday to Monday is preferred, or 4 shifts of 10 hours from Thursday to Sunday.
The work site is a 700-bed Level 1 Trauma Center and Teaching Facility.
There is exposure to a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency department.
The candidate will perform all types of CT exams, including head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, and CT angiograms.
Equipment used includes GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion.
Candidates must have NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT).
Candidates must possess NYS Injection/IV Certification or be willing to obtain certification.
BLS certification is required.
Every other weekend will be required.
Scrubs must match top and bottom.
Any color is acceptable but no patterns are allowed.
Open-toed shoes and excessive jewelry are not permitted.
Long hair must be tied back, and beards must be trimmed for fit-testing.
Nails must not have chipping paint.
