Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 18

· Patient Ratios : 1:4-5

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :We use 2 PCT’s and 1 Unit secretary

· Type of equipment :Alaris pumps, kangaroo pump, Pxysis, computers available in every room

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: Self scheduling – to include 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks schedule

· On Call Requirements: none

· Floating policy: 1. Travelers, 2. PRN staff, 3. Date last floated

· Patient Experience requirements: We are working on nurse’s courtesy and respect, and working together as a team to care for patients

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS, BLS
