Contract | Night Shift | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients throughout the night shift
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpreting fetal monitoring strips and escalating concerns appropriately
• Assist with labor support, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean section preparation and recovery
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Current experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternity nursing
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required or ability to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work night shifts across a Monday through Sunday work week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or Maternity setting
• ACLS or AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
• Experience in a critical access or rural hospital environment
