Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Quality Technician to work with our client in Racho Santa Margarita, CA. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Job Decription:
The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA provides precision-machined components that power industry-leading electronic measurement equipment.
In this role, you will support mechanical inspection processes on day shift. Through on-the-job training, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence by processing parts through manual and automated inspection operations, including performing visual inspections under a microscope and operating precision inspection equipment. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are essential for success in this position. Tekberry seeks a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and values teamwork. The start time for this position is between 5:00am and 7:00am.
Qualifications:
- Basic Windows PC and Microsoft Excel use
- Strong manual dexterity
- High-volume parts inspection and handling
- Automated inspection equipment operation
- Microscopic visual inspection
- Precision pin, thread, and ring gaging
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience
- Ability to interpret specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) (preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some college or technical coursework preferred
