Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This position is integral to ensuring effective return to community activities for our patients while serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation.
• Provide care under signed, valid physician orders within insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Develop and pursue a professional growth plan with clinical management.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain good standing of professional licensure.
• Demonstrate awareness of and contribute to the organization’s performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 schedule with an ASAP start date.
