Maintenance TechnicianJoin our team!Location: Midway, KYShift: 2nd shift: 4:00pm – 12:30am Overtime is mandatory on a daily basisPay: $20.00 p/hrWhat you'll do:Responsible for troubleshooting systemsPerforming preventive and predictive maintenance on all installed equipment to minimize downtimeSupport installation and modification of equipmentEnsure quality control requirements are metProcess enhancements are realized.Optimize line up timeProactively resolve equipment issuesMonitor work performed by outside contractors to ensure that AHK's machine standards are met.Follow and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures standards including LOTO.Troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of various manufacturing equipment.Implement and enhance continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.Effective communication with team members and other departments.Maintain integrity of safety devices including light curtains, safety gates, barriers, etc.Make modifications to existing equipment as required.Ensure equipment meets NEC, OSHA, and AHK's regulations.Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections as required, complete with all repairs.Minimize downtime by effective use of resources including response time, technical expertise, tools, spare parts and external contacts.Monitor and maintain good housekeeping and daily inspection of equipment.Work inside manufacturing facility, with some facility needs outside the perimeter sometimesBeing able to lift a weight over 50 poundsFrequent bending, stooping and stretchingBeing able to stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to walk for prolonged periods of time.Operator Forklift, Crane or Tugger as neededWhat we need from you:Must be at least 18 years of age or overMust comply with client's substance abuse & background policyMust have High School Diploma or EquivalentMust possess valid KY driver's licenseMust have 2 Year degree Technical College or Minimum 5 Year on the job training with industrial manufacturing facility in skilled trade capacity.Minimum of 3 to 5 years Maintenance experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferredGeneral knowledge of industrial maintenance with an emphasis on electrical, mechanical or controls applicationJourneyman certification is a plusMust have good written & oral communicationsMust have good mathematical and communicationAbility to read and understand schematicsAbility to use testing and troubleshooting equipmentMust have a good understanding of rigging, cranes, etc.Must have a general knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics and pneumaticsMust be able to pay good attention to detailMust have a basic knowledge of drafting (blueprint reading, dimension drawings, etc.)Basic knowledge of computer applications (Excel, Word & others)Basic knowledge of Electrical including PLCMust pose ability to work in a team environmentMust be able to provide own tools needed for positionMust be able to work extended hours as needed to meet customer requirementsWhy you'll love it:Temp to Hire position based upon work ethics and attendanceWeekly payDirect DepositMedical insurance options401(k)Apply today!
