Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. The ideal candidate will be required to float to medical-surgical units and rehabilitation as needed. This role includes working during major holidays, specifically Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, with requirements dependent on the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across medical-surgical and rehabilitation units.
• Float as needed to various units based on patient care demands.
• Administer medications and monitor patient health status.
• Implement isolation precautions and ensure the safety of patients.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
