Job Description Job Description We are seeking motivated and licensed 'Class A Drivers' to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating our truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. If you have experience with gravel trains, leads and flow-boys, D & L Contracting co is the place to be! At our company, we are always looking for hard working drivers. We work all over Metro Detroit, servicing many construction companies. D & L offers TOP PAY dependent on experience and work ethic. If you would like to join our team, please refer to the information below: Responsibilities: - Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck/18 speed - Dumping loads/asphalt-paving - Properly track and document activity log - Report any issues or incidents to dispatch - Pre-Trip and Post-trip logs - Maintaining a clean cabin - Daily check of tractor's fluid levels - Fueling up tractors at end of work day - Long Hours - Weekend Work (Alternative Work Schedule) Qualifications: - Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields - Commercial driver's license - Ability to handle physical workload - Strong work ethic - Able to drive gravel trains, flow boys, leads - Pass a DOT regulated drug test - Pass an employer road test. (PAY NEGOTIATED DAY OF ROAD TEST) - Paid holidays/vacation after 1 year service
