Respiratory Therapist

Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our growing Respiratory Therapy team. In this role, you’ll care for patients of all ages while working alongside experienced providers and clinical staff in a fast‑paced, supportive environment where your skills truly make a difference. Provide respiratory therapy treatments and patient assessments Set up and monitor mechanical and non‑invasive ventilators (NIV) Administer respiratory medications and oxygen therapy Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs), arterial punctures, and EKGs Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans Assist physicians during emergency procedures, including intubations when needed Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Ensure respiratory equipment is functioning safely and effectively Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department growth Qualifications Current CRT/RCP or RRT license in the State of Georgia Current BLS Certification required Current ACLS Certification required Current PALS Certification required Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred Previous Respiratory Therapy experience preferred but not required At Washington County Regional Medical Center, you’re more than an employee—you’re part of a healthcare team committed to compassion, excellence, and serving our community.
