Job Overview Our client is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a long-term engagement requiring Day 1 onsite presence. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern Gen AI tools.

Job Overview Our client is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a long-term engagement requiring Day 1 onsite presence. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern Gen AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, reusable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model
- Write and maintain BDD scenarios using Gherkin and Cucumber-JVM
- Automate REST API testing using REST Assured, Karate, or Gatling
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
- Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and smoke testing
- Apply test design techniques including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and risk-based testing
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to translate requirements into test scenarios
- Leverage Gen AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to enhance testing efficiency
- Java or Python, JavaScript/TypeScript - strong coding fundamentals
- Selenium WebDriver, Page Object Model, cross-browser and data-driven testing
- BDD - Gherkin, Cucumber-JVM, step definitions, hooks, DataTables
- REST API testing - REST Assured, Karate, Gatling, Postman
- GitHub Actions - pipeline integration, quality gates, scheduled runs
- Gen AI tools - GitHub Copilot, Claude
- Advanced Java concepts and web framework code maintenance
- Experience with parallel test execution strategies
