Position Type: Substitute Support Services / Substitute Custodial Date Posted: 7/3/2024 Location: District-Wide K‑12 Job Goal: To provide students with a safe, attractive, clean, and comfortable environment so they can take full advantage of the District’s educational opportunities; to contribute to a positive school atmosphere by offering pleasant, accommodating custodial services for students and staff. Responsibilities: Act as a substitute in our custodial department when permanent employees are absent on an as‑needed basis. Shifts and positions vary according to position. Reports to Building Principal and Coordinator of Support Services. Cooperate with assigned building custodian in a mentor relationship for standardization of custodial practices and procedures. Pay: Building custodian: $18.30 per hour; $17.55 per hour for other substitutes at Step 1 of their corresponding assignment classification.
