If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryReporting to the Director Operations Engineeringthe Automation (Controls) Engineer role involves maintaining and improving automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications.What a typical day looks like:Maintain existing and new moderately-complex automation equipment, tooling and applications to automate manufacturing processes.Establish technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for automated equipment and automated processes.Understand the machine operating principle, Consequence of wear and tear parts and product defectsEnsure the uptime of machines through design of regular preventive maintenance and assisting breakdown maintenanceShould be willing to learn & enhance the skill in all type of Automation equipment.Should prepare why-why analysis & drive for permanent corrective actions.Should be able to give feedback to improve the design of process and equipment.Coordinates project activities with other functional groups such as engineering, operations, and quality to ensure the efficient execution of continuous improvements Collaborates and offers input to planning, building, and maintaining the Automation framework and associated processes for new products.Identifies and drives change to ensure automation effectiveness of existing processes.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:Bachelor’s Degree in related field3+ years experience in a similar role.Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Factory Talk ME or SE, Mitsubishi PLC programming experience.Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical DesignOT Network experienceMust have electrical troubleshooting and design Strong communication skills required.
