A&P Mechanic

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for experienced A&P MECHANICS in KANSAS CITY, MO. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be required to:

• Perform general maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems. This may include troubleshooting, installations and removals, and inspections on numerous aircraft types including Boeing 737/767/Airbus.
• Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Experience on 737/767/Airbus required.
• Previous Commercial MRO experience preferred minimum three years of experience.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Standard Tool Kit required.
• Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Essential Job Functions

• Able to Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring prints, and engineering drawings.
• High level of professionalism and attention to details. Able to take direction and fit in with the team.
• Good documentation skills for work performed and turnovers.
• Work with little or no direction.
• Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good vision and depth perception.
• Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
