Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Epic charting system experience required Community hospital experience required Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. This position involves rotating night and evening shifts. The primary shift is nights, with the potential for evening shifts based on departmental needs. This role requires every other weekend and holiday availability. Floating within the unit is required as necessary. Candidates must be comfortable managing various patient conditions, including acute psychosis, respiratory infections, and trauma cases. Required skills include intubation, procedural sedation monitoring, and blood product administration. The facility has an average daily census of 90 visits and accommodates multiple patient age groups. Candidates will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. The position necessitates adherence to all compliance and onboarding requirements. Travelers are expected to complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner. This position does not allow for scheduling requests or restrictions. Candidates must be willing to float between the Emergency Department and other locations as needed. Certifications must be current and from approved providers.
