Data Center Logistics Technician - W2 Only, No 3rd Party (Piscataway)

Role: Data Center Logistics Technician

Location: Onsite, Piscataway NJ

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Pay rate: $50/hour W2 Only, client will not consider C2C

Job summary:

This role is primarily focused on asset tracking, inventory management, shipping and receiving, workspace organization, procurement support, and disposal of packaging and materials. It also includes basic hands-on support for hardware-related tasks such as cabling, labeling, moving, and handling equipment under established procedures.

Required skills:

• 2+ years of experience working in a data center environment.
• Basic familiarity with hardware components such as servers, drives, power supplies, and cables, or willingness to learn.
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks and working on feet for extended periods.
• Basic troubleshooting awareness and ability to spot simple issues.
• Prior experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, procurement support, or a data center environment.
