Production Machine Operator

Position Title: Production Machine Operator Wage: $19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Job ID: IND091 Now hiring Production Machine Operators in the Mt. Vernon area! Responsibilities include operating machinery, assembling products, and performing quality checks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous production experience preferred, but training is provided. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Responsibilities Operate production machinery safely and efficiently according to company procedures Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues promptly Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards Assemble components and perform basic finishing tasks, including trimming, deburring, and polishing Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets Participate in training and skill development to improve knowledge of manufacturing processes Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred Ability to follow instructions and work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools Effective communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Equipment used includes production machinery, hand tools, measuring devices, and basic finishing tools Overtime may be required based on production demands Closed-toe shoes required; appropriate work attire; PPE provided as needed On-the-job training provided, including equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
