IT Infrastructure Engineer

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of our IT infrastructure, focusing primarily on Apple estate management, cloud support, and systems integrations. The role is part of the Level 2 Support Team, helping resolve more complex issues escalated from the Service Desk. Core Responsibilities Manage macOS devices using JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect Support macOS patching and Apple Business Manager tasks Maintain cloud environments (AWS/Azure) under guidance Contribute to scripting and automation (Python, Bash) Manage platform integrations (Slack, Teams, Atlassian) Provide Tier‑2 support to the Service Desk Participate in incident response and root cause analysis Troubleshoot and resolve complex end‑user issues Manage Entra IDP and troubleshoot; document processes and configurations clearly Essential Skills and Experience Basic experience with JAMF Pro and macOS device management Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and macOS patching workflows Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and basic services Introductory knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, VPN) Experience with ticketing systems and basic ITIL practices Awareness of endpoint security and compliance principles Problem‑solving skills: proactively identify issues and propose solutions Mentorship: support junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing Cross‑team collaboration: work effectively with DevOps, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams Project participation: work on infrastructure projects with minimal supervision Adaptability: prioritize workloads and communicate effectively Desirable Skills and Experience At least 2 years of experience within an IT department JAMF 100/200 certification desirable Benefits Paid Time Off: minimum 35 days per year, including public holidays and an additional day of annual leave for each year of service Comprehensive Medical Insurance (including dental, optical, audiology, and mental health coverage) Life Insurance Enhanced Pension Contributions (enhanced employer matching) 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Copper is an equal opportunity employer.
