Data Engineer Azure Snowflake

Salary: $90,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 3–5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data integration.
• We value experience with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse, including modeling, transformation, and performance tuning.
• We need hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory or a comparable cloud orchestration tool for pipeline and workflow management.
• We look for experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage or similar cloud storage platforms.
• We require strong SQL skills, including advanced querying, query optimization, and work with large datasets.
• We need experience building data solutions with Python.
• We expect familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT workflows, and dimensional modeling.
• We look for experience integrating data via APIs and working with JSON, XML, or similar formats.
• We prefer experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, GA4, Marketo, or comparable business systems.
• We prefer experience with dbt or similar modern data transformation frameworks.
• We prefer experience supporting AI or machine learning initiatives through data engineering.
• We prefer experience using AI-assisted development tools while following responsible AI and security best practices.

• We design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• We build ETL and ELT processes that bring together data from enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party systems.
• We create dependable datasets and data models that support reporting, business intelligence, automation, and AI initiatives.
• We partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• We monitor, troubleshoot, and refine data pipelines to improve performance, reliability, and data quality.
• We perform data validation, testing, and reconciliation to ensure data remains accurate and trusted.
• We document data flows, source-to-target mappings, and technical processes to support maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously strengthen our cloud data platform and engineering practices.
