Wire Harness Technician

Expected compensation: 47.82 USD Per Hour As a Wire Harness Technician, You'll Manufacture, assemble, and rework wiring harnesses of varying sizes and complexity. Build complex electrical components and assemblies with minimal instruction. Diagnose root causes and repair components returned from field operations or testing. Provide feedback to engineering teams on new assemblies, build challenges, and design improvements. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, wire lists, and formboards. Use specialized hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and electrical diagnostic tools. Manage multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities and production needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. Requirements 5+ years of related experience or an associate degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience Experience manufacturing or repairing wire harnesses or an IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification Strong understanding of electrical circuits and networks Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, wire lists, and formboards Experience using specialized hand and power tools Experience with diagnostic equipment, SMT and PTH soldering, digital volt-ohm meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Bonus Qualifications ASE certification EPA Section 609 certification Basic experience with SolidWorks or CATIA Automotive high-voltage training or experience Fabrication experience Benefits Pre-tax commuter benefits Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service) Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance 401k package Commitment This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
