Custodial Worker
Department of the Interior
Job Title
The major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cleans restrooms, windows, walls, floors, furniture, etc.
- Empties multiple trash receptacles
- Works on ladders and scaffolds to change light bulbs, wash walls, etc.
- Operates powered cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, leaf blowers, etc.
- Moves heavy furniture, supplies, and equipment
- Occasionally provides general labor assistance in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc.
- Drives passenger cars and pickup trucks to and from job sites
