About the Position

Travelers are allowed one call-out per contract. If there is a second call-out, proper documentation will be needed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Unit is community hospital accredited with a total of 171 beds. This facility serves as a regional referral center and is a certified chest pain center. It operates as a Level III trauma center. The position includes outdoor recreational activities such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. Local attractions include various restaurants and breweries. Enjoy beautiful mountain ranges alongside serene lake scenery. It is in proximity to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. The unit profile includes a blended ICU with 16 beds and a nursing ratio of 1:2. Key patient populations include adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, and various emergencies. The role requires floating to an intermediate care unit as needed. Dress code is scrubs of any color, with no unacceptable attire specified.
