JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a AUTOMOTIVE ASSEMBLER in Madison AL . Our client l produces interior and exterior plastic-injected parts and various sub-assemblies for an Automotive Supplier.


The AUTOMOTIVE ASSEMBLER is responsible:

1. Perform a specific task or a number of predetermined tasks in any process as instructed
2. Perform repetitive tasks such as attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts to main product as it moves through the production line or lifting of component parts
3. Prepare parts for shipment
4. Perform duties of shipping, receiving, and material handling
5. Notify Team Leader of defective parts, equipment, tools, materials, nonstandard assembly work or other conditions, which hinder the assembly process

Participate in group meetings in order to exchange any job related information and quality standards are being consistently met

1. Ensure that the time, material and waste is minimized
2. Perform other duties as required, ensuring that Client meets or exceeds our customer expectations and needs
3. Must be punctual and adhere to strict attendance policy

Requirements of a AUTOMOTIVE ASSEMBLER includes :

1. Strong attention to detail
2. Ability to stand for long periods of time
3. Strong hand-eye coordination
4. Ability to operate various assembly tools
5. Sufficient physical reflexes and personal mobility
6. Must be a team player and communicate effectively with all team members as well as communicate issues to Supervisor immediately
