Job Summary:
Critical Care Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The organization is seeking experienced ICU nurses for a night shift assignment. Candidates are required to bring their Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a 20-bed ICU setting, with a patient ratio of 1:2.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Shift Hours: 12 hours (Night shift)
• Schedule: Nights, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years of current Critical Care experience, Massachusetts RN license, Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool), active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and willingness to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Personal scrubs of any color, 8 hours non-billable orientation
  • Holiday and overtime multipliers at 1.25%
  • Must be willing to float to PCU as needed
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle; profile submission must include all required licenses and certifications, including the Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)
  • All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded.
  • Requests for time off (RTO) must be included in the profile and verified prior to submission; no more than 5 days of RTO accepted.
  • Ensure voicemail is set up on phones to facilitate communication.
  • Candidates without the required license uploaded will not be considered.
