Associate Full Time Professional Rocky Hill, CT, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1146 $95,000.00 To $120,000.00 Hourly Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP is seeking an associate attorney with 1–3 years of experience to join the Rocky Hill, CT office. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a junior attorney to develop litigation skills in a collaborative, forward-thinking law firm environment. The ideal candidate will have early-career experience in general litigation and strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Exposure to insurance defense, professional liability, product liability, or appellate work is a plus but not required. This role requires initiative, sound judgment, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Overall Responsibilities: Assisting with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive reports and legal analysis Participating in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with client guidelines Maintaining accurate time records and billing entries Qualifications: 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting Admission to practice in Connecticut (additional bar admissions in NY, NJ, or PA are a plus) Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a demonstrated work ethic Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines consistently Federal court or appellate experience is a plus, but not required Why Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP At Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady, we're building something different.
