WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $120,000 - $170,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.

This position supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates must meet all stated requirements and may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC).

Responsibilities

We are seeking  COMSEC/KMI Database Administrator for the Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract.

The COMSEC/KMI Database Administrator will support database and data-management activities associated with COMSEC operations, secure communications, controlled-accountability systems, and Key Management Infrastructure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, secure communications, and controlled-accountability systems

• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Certifications

• Security+ certification DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

AND

• KMI certification.

Clearance

• Active Top Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with COMSEC accountability databases.

• Experience with SQL and enterprise database platforms.

• Experience with KMI operational workflows.

• Experience supporting classified data-management environments

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and support databases used by COMSEC and controlled-accountability systems.

• Maintain database integrity, availability, security, and accuracy.

• Support KMI operational and data-management requirements.

• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and technical issues.

• Support data reconciliation, validation, reporting, and audit readiness.

• Assist with database backup, recovery, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle activities.

• Support interfaces between databases and COMSEC applications.

• Maintain accurate and traceable accountability data.

• Support investigation and resolution of data discrepancies.

• Develop and maintain database procedures and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with developers, systems integrators, cybersecurity personnel, and operations staff.
