Job Opportunities At Blair County PrisonJob opportunities exist for full-time hires who will provide care, custody, and control of inmates in the Blair County Prison. Essential functions include maintaining control of security and safety in an assigned housing block, monitoring and patrolling an assigned area, observing and supervising inmate behavior and during bathing, meals, recreation, and work release, monitoring to detect or prevent disturbances or looking for signs of duress or escape, maintaining records, preparing logs, escorting inmates throughout Prison, to and from court hearings, to and from medical appointments, and to/from other institutions, searching inmates, inmate mail, and various areas for contraband, and attending training.
$23.5 - $40 per hour
