A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services in Hood River, OR. This contract assignment offers 13+ weeks working primarily day shifts with a supportive healthcare team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow and quality standards
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize medication therapy
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for patient-centered care
• Utilize IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Work Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacist license
• Prior experience as a pharmacist preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to consult with healthcare providers
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems highly desirable
