Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 18 months of experience and strong ortho, total joints, scopes, and neuro surgical background.

Job Details

• Work in the Surgery department of a hospital setting,
• 3x12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week,
• Shift hours run 7a-7p,
• On-call responsibilities required,
• 13-week assignment length,

Job Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand,
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required,
• Strong experience with Ortho, Total Joints, Scopes, and Neuro procedures required,
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a surgical unit handling ortho, total joint, scope, and neuro cases,
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted,
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility,
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if it does, with only one holiday request allowed,
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
