P-Physical Therapist

Position: P-Physical Therapist Salary Range: $40 - $52 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with one weekend day required per month Facility: 193 bed skilled nursing facility with a nice mix of short-term and long-term care patients. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our 193 bed skilled nursing facility. Our facility offers a nice mix of short-term and long-term care patients, providing a diverse and rewarding work environment. As a P-Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical disabilities and conditions, helping them to regain their strength, mobility, and independence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals Implement and monitor treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure progress Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients improve their physical function and reduce pain Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue at home Document all treatments and progress in patients' medical records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients Stay updated on new techniques and advancements in physical therapy to continuously improve patient care Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility to obtain state license Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care We offer a competitive salary range of $40 - $52 per hour, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
