Step into a rewarding teaching role for the upcoming school year as a Technology Teacher for 7th and 8th grade students at a welcoming middle school near Gurnee, IL. Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with the appropriate endorsement(s)
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional planning, and classroom teaching
- Knowledge of technology trends in education and best practices for middle school learners
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging technology lessons tailored to 7th and 8th grade curriculum standards
- Foster digital literacy and problem-solving skills among students
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to integrate technology across disciplines
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required school activities
- Uphold school policies and build strong relationships with students and families

- Contract runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027
- Full-time, onsite only (no virtual/remote options)
- Serve as the dedicated 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher
