Bridal Concierge Position

True Society has developed a strong reputation in the Kansas City area as a premier bridal retailer. True to our name, we're here for the bride with big ideas, bigger passion, and unlimited inspiration. The bride seeking a gown that makes a statement and celebrates their true self. Abandoning all thought of a predictable, one-size-fits-all dress boutique, we embrace the spirit of our local brides with a curated selection of styles that help celebrate their love story. We are looking for a part-time Bridal Concierge to join our busy team!

The Bridal Store Concierge is often the first point of contact when a bride visits the store and helps deliver the True Society bridal experience from the minute a bride walks in the door. This front desk position will greet guests and provide premier hospitality while also helping to support bridal appointments by scheduling, fitting room set-up and being willing to jump in whenever needed. In addition, the Concierge will assist in operational tasks from time to time such as gown prep, physical inventory, store merchandising and event support.

We are currently seeking part-time candidates with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

What We Require

• Provide initial reception to all incoming customers both in person and via telephone, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all guests and callers.
• Assist in creating and managing appointments, completing sales, and receiving payments.
• Prep dresses for customer pick up to include steaming and packaging
• Clear fitting rooms, put away gowns, and pull gowns as needed to support ongoing appointments.
• Maintain high level of store standards by maintaining a clean and well-organized store.
• Exhibit a professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service to all customers based on company standards.
• Participate and assist with organizing in-store events, bridal fairs, and promotions.
• Represent the store and the designer labels we sell in a professional and consultative manner.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be both professional and friendly.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Dedication and ability to quickly develop strong product knowledge of bridal industry and trends.
• Physical ability to move throughout the store, lift and move up to 25lbs, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Detail oriented with a keen understanding of bridal industry trends.
• Ability to always maintain a fashion forward and professional appearance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to self-manage working effectively to meet deadlines.
• Be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to adapt to change in an ever-growing, fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 1-2 years sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Undergraduate degree strongly preferred with emphasis in business or apparel related studies.
