Director, Advanced Toxin Practice Clinical Educator

Ipsen

Ipsen seeks a Director-level clinical educator with neurology expertise to develop and deliver Dysport training programs to healthcare providers. This field-based commercial role focuses on educating physicians and specialists in spasticity and cervical dystonia management, requiring both deep clinical knowledge and pharmaceutical industry experience.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical educator programs with physicians and healthcare providers on Dysport administration, anatomy, dosing, and injection technique
Develop and enhance Dysport clinical educational curriculum including advanced topics like ultrasound guidance
Build relationships with key opinion leaders and customers while gathering market insights and identifying unmet needs
Support internal commercial field personnel onboarding and upskilling in Dysport training
Develop and monitor key performance indicators for educational initiatives and ensure compliant execution

Requirements

MD with specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehab or Neurology – Movement Disorders
Residency training in movement disorders, specifically spasticity and cervical dystonia
Minimum 15 years of clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience
Strong neurotoxin subject matter expertise and medical literature mastery
Ability to travel up to 70% for customer training and business needs
Five or more years pharmaceutical industry experience in neuroscience preferred
Fellowship in movement disorders or spasticity preferred
