Registered Nurse (RN) - Mental Health Hospital

Position Details 13-week full-time contracts Multiple shifts available: HAVE TO BE FLEXIBLE to work with the needs of the hospital at the time (days and nights) May be 36 hours/week OR rotating 36/48 hours/week Location: Denver, CO Opportunity to extend What You'll Be Doing Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients with psychiatric and medical conditions Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Administer medications and monitor effectiveness and side effects Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams Assist with crisis intervention and therapeutic interventions Support patients through counseling, psychoeducation groups, and skill-building activities Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient updates to care teams Orientation: First 2 weeks: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM $40/hr (non-patient facing) After orientation, you'll receive your schedule (days or nights) Process: Takes minimum of 1 month to get through the background and requirements Additional Information This is a secure inpatient psychiatric setting serving adult patients Nurses may assist with therapeutic activities and occasionally escort patients to appointments or activities Must be flexible with scheduling, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed Please apply if interested!
