Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver direct patient care within a Medical Surgical setting, including management of patients requiring deep cardiac monitoring and cardiac drip administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Iowa license required; Compact license accepted.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Mandatory Reporter certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.
• Deep Cardiac experience required.
• Cardiac Drips experience required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
