Electrical & Hydraulic Assembly Technician
Location: Kent, OH
Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime on Fridays (5-10 hours depending on production needs)
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking dependable, career-minded individuals to join a growing manufacturing team in Kent, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in the assembly of liquid tank trailers, with a strong focus on electrical wiring installation and hydraulic system assembly .

What You'll Do

• Install and route electrical wiring on liquid tank trailers
• Assemble and install hydraulic systems and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision instruments
• Position, align, and secure components during assembly
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot and identify defective materials or equipment issues
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, hoists, and other production equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with repairs, modifications, and rework as needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience with electrical wiring assembly and installation
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and hydraulic assembly
• Proven job longevity and a solid work history
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and precision measuring tools
• Manufacturing, assembly, or trailer-building experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, and climb throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary
• Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and moving equipment
