Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Required | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the night shift
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Hands-on clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend
• Current BLS and applicable specialty certifications as required by facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity Labor and Delivery cases
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in hospital settings
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
