# Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN – Upstate New York Start Date: October 29, 2026
Location: Upstate New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time with on-call rotation 1-2 nights per week as needed; weekend coverage every 4 weeks; 24/7 emergency coverage availability Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive Cardiovascular Lab serving both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, radiology technologists, and cardiovascular technologists
• Facility is transitioning to Epic EMR system – Epic experience highly valued
• 8-hour non-billable orientation provided
• Participate in STEMI and interventional cardiac procedures with experienced team
• Limited requested time off accepted (maximum 5 days; must be specified at time of application)

Requirements:

• Current New York RN license (active at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience (current and required)
• 2+ years experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
• STEMI and STEMI call experience required
• Cath and peripheral vascular intervention experience required
• Proficiency in EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracing interpretation
• Conscious/moderate sedation experience and certification (highly preferred)
• IV therapy experience required
• EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for all submissions)
• Completion of verbal de-escalation training from Welle Training or CPI
• 14-panel drug screen (must be completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance)
• Skills checklist (current within 1 year), work history, and 1 supervisory reference from past 2 years required
• Strong attendance record and reliability essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Position and immobilize patients on examination table following specified protocols
• Continuously assess patient hemodynamics throughout procedures
• Perform conscious sedation and monitor patient response
• Mix and maintain IV/IC infusions and bolus medications
• Alert physicians to changes in patient condition
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Provide Phase I patient recovery care
