General Surgery Opportunity in Western PA - 1 hour east of Pittsburgh General Surgery – to replace one of four in solo practice, for planned reduction in his scope to vein surgery, only. Ideally joining one of the existing practices. Employment with hospital‑related corporation. Must come with excellent skills, and some experience preferred or fellowship trained if recent graduate. Must be BC/BE. Share call, including ER with the three other GS – practice can't be limited to any subspecialty area such as colorectal or breast. Vascular skills or willing to learn in order to provide some coverage for Vascular Surgeon is preferred but not required. Little trauma care. Most medical and surgical specialties available full‑time on staff, except minimal current availability of Neurosurgery, and no Cardiac or Thoracic. Primary Care Physicians practice a traditional model – no Hospitalists.
