Clinical Specialist

Support Cardiologists, nurses, cath lab staff, and patients in the effective use of the Cordella PA Sensor System Attend and support implant procedures inside and outside the assigned territory Maintain contact with customers to evaluate clinical and educational needs Lead internal meetings to identify root causes of field issues Lead site meetings, including site initiation visits Perform on-site training for physicians, heart failure staff, research staff, and cath lab staff Perform on-site field service activities and troubleshooting Represent IHFM at conferences and symposiums Initiate site contacts and provide technical and clinical support to customers and patients Collaborate with other departments on company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction Engage in training, troubleshooting, data analysis, and field service activities under the guidance of the Area Sales Manager Requirements Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing or related field 5 years of experience related to medical devices, cath lab, and/or clinical experience in an acute care environment Expertise in MS Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills Consultative and relationship management skills Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Knowledge of valve crimping, case management, pre-case planning, post-case management, Therapy Awareness Program management, and clinical education programs Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to Edwards medical products Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements, documents, device accountability, and adverse event reporting Understanding of the clinical value of Edwards products and ability to articulate their value to customers Ability to develop and manage programs suited to local markets Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Strict attention to detail Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a team environment and represent the organization on specific projects Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships Adherence to company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety rules Ability to attend implant procedures, site meetings, conferences, and perform on-site customer support Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in medical device support, particularly with the Cordella PA Sensor System, and possesses strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
