Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Ottumwa, Iowa. This position involves providing acute care in the emergency department at a regional health center. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care across all age groups in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for either 36 or 48 hours per week.

- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours weekly
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications; ability to start on Monday or Tuesday; must have Iowa SING background check clearance (criminal and child abuse portions); all background checks must be fully cleared prior to start; mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult); drug test including 10-panel screening; titers from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB); no experience requirement explicitly listed, defaulting to 0+ years.
- Preferred Qualifications: ER experience, travel nurse experience, strong ability to work under pressure, excellent communication skills.
- Additional Information: The ER handles all ages, with an average of 40 visits per day, utilizing Meditech electronic health record system. No call requirement.
