Supervisory Program Manager

This position is located with the Office of the Secretary of Interior, Deputy Assistant Secretary-Management in Washington, District of Columbia. The incumbent will utilize innovative approaches to provide assistance to tribes for capital investment, economic development, economic policy development, workforce development, and will integrate that effort with the overall economic development program under the purview of the Assistant Secretary. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards ). To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 or equivalent which includes: directing a division on economic development programmatic initiatives, policies, practices, and operational guidance; advising executives or top leaders on economic development programs; preparing, implementing, or measuring economic development policies, procedures, plans or strategies for an organization; leading and/or supervising employees in order to build a cohesive and productive team.
