Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Med/Surg for a night shift travel position requiring an active GA or Compact license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit on the 4th floor of a surgical hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg surgical unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited, especially around holidays, with a maximum of 5 days allowed if not near a holiday and 3 days if on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
