Corporate Associate Attorney

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually + Bonus, (1700 Annual Billables) Bar Admission: NY Required Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity Attorney with 5-10+ years of experience to join their dynamic corporate practice group in NY. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a prestigious firm and represent sophisticated corporate clients and private equity funds on a wide range of complex transactions. Key Responsibilities: Advise corporate clients and private equity sponsors in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of transaction-related documents. Provide general corporate counsel and support ongoing governance matters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain direct client interaction. Qualifications: 5–10+ years of experience practicing corporate law with a strong emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions. Deep understanding of corporate and transactional law, as well as current market practices and trends. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with substantial experience in preparing core transaction documents. Prior experience at a nationally recognized law firm is preferred.
