CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Benefits Pay Rate: $75,000 ($36/hr) to $95,000 ($45/hr) Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000, depending on experience Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance Paid holidays and vacation time: accrue from day one 401(k) profit-sharing plan after 90 days Team routes home daily; solo routes two-days Additional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement, and more Responsibilities Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after each trip and submit DOT inspection report Verify bill of lading and store keys accurately for off-hour delivery Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications At least 21 years of age Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely What We Look For Safety-focused Reliable Adaptable Dedicated Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
