Responsibilities or job duties:
- Troubleshoot/repair mechanical power train components (conveyors, bearings, gears, gearboxes, shafts)
- Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic symbols and prints
- Read PLC ladder logic symbols and instructions Rebuild pumps and cylinders from supplied prints
- Bend conduit and run basic electrical circuits according to prints provided
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance on production/facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Use welding/cutting equipment (stick and/or MIG, oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.)
- Rebuild pumps/cylinders from supplied prints
- Use pipe threading equipment
Qualifications:
- Experience with Allen Bradley Micrologix, SLC 500, and RSLogix 500 is highly desired.
- Strongly preferred candidates have completed or are currently enrolled in: HAC 107 Electrical Controls and Circuitry and/or MFT 201 PLC Manufacturing Systems
- Preferred candidates have successfully completed: MFT103 Industrial Robots & PLCs and/or IDM 210 Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- ALL STAR Candidates: Have completed an Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship
