Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) WellMed Medical Group - San Antonio, TX (Medical Center) WellMed is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our clinic in San Antonio's Medical Center. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered medicine in a setting designed to support both clinical excellence and provider satisfaction. In this role, you will care for a primarily Medicare Advantage population within a value-based care model that prioritizes outcomes over volume. Physicians typically see 14 to 16 patients per day, allowing for more meaningful patient interactions and a focus on whole-person care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to address each patient's physical, behavioral, and social health needs. Qualifications * MD or DO * Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine * Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start) * Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Preferred * Bilingual in English and Spanish * Experience in or interest in value-based or managed care environments
