\n

A Merced based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate family practice physician to join a collaborative, outpatient practice. An ideal candidate should have 1-2 years experience, value practicing evidence-based medicine and should be comfortable treating all ages. This role involves collaboration with other staff members and leading mid-level providers and nursing staff.

Required Qualifications 

\n

\n
• CA medical license as an MD or DO
\n
• Completion of an approved residency program
\n
• Board certification or board eligible in family practice
\n
• CA DEA certificate before start date
\n
• CPR certification
\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide direct primary care to patients of all ages
\n
• Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
\n
• Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluates the quality of the medical staff and medical services being performed at the clinics
\n
• Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
\n
• Provide consultation services to practitioners by telephone accessibility as necessary
