Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our 3rd Floor unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring safety and comfort for all patients during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and implement appropriate care plans.
• Administer IV medications and manage IV pumps.
• Utilize Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets effectively.
• Provide care for patients requiring Wound Vac and remote telemetry.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and PCT staff to ensure patient needs are met.
• Conduct hourly rounding and engage in Patient Experience protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certifications preferred.
• Strong assessment skills with experience in IV administration and foley catheter placement.
