Commercial Litigation Associate | Raleigh, NC
A highly regarded AmLaw firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Raleigh office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial litigation matters in a collaborative environment that offers strong mentorship, meaningful client exposure, and a clear path for professional growth with competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including business disputes, trade secrets, products liability, employment litigation, environmental contamination, and other complex civil litigation
- Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions
- Draft and argue substantive motions
- Manage cases through all phases of litigation with direct client interaction
- Collaborate with experienced litigators on high stakes matters
Qualifications:
- JD
- 1+ years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience taking and defending depositions required
- Motion practice experience preferred
- Strong academic credentials
- North Carolina bar admission or ability to obtain admission
